I specialise in transformational life coaching and  use the New Insights Life Coaching System™ 

as a structured and flexible framework for our coaching sessions.

Life coaching is a powerful personal development process that helps you gain clarity, identify current challenges and obstacles, create goals and take action to unlock your potential and achieve what you want out of life.

What is the difference between Transformational & 
Transactional Life Coaching?

Transformational life coaching is a holistic approach to personal and professional growth, focusing on helping you achieve a transformational shift in your life. It focusses on who you are and who you want to become, and helps you to create your own, new reality. It is an empowering journey of self discovery that encourages growth, helps you gain clarity and set meaningful goals  and create lasting changes that leads you to a more fulfilling and successful life.

Transactional life coaching is focused on helping you systematically achieve specific goals and objectives, working through a specific problem or issue, and providing short-term guidance and support to help you reach your desired outcome.

While both approaches can help you create the life you want, I focus on transformational life coaching because it empowers you to fundamentally change your life so you can make real long-term positive changes.​​​​

What can I expect?

You can expect a series of coaching sessions where we work together weekly or every two weeks, depending on what suits you best. These sessions will guide you from reflecting on your current life, goals, and resources, all the way to uncovering your life purpose. We will celebrate your achievements and identify what you want to achieve in the long term, with ongoing support provided between sessions.

How does it work?

Each of the thirteen topics (or mini-interventions) we cover in the full New Insights life coaching program builds on the previous one and helps you identify and address thinking patterns, beliefs and behaviours that are limiting you from moving forward in life or stopping you from realising your goals and potential.

Regardless of which program you choose, we always start by looking at the eight different areas of your life: vocation/business/career, money, spiritual, emotions, partner, family and social life, health and personal development. You identify where you are in each of the eight life areas and then choose three life areas that you especially want to focus on and set some goals for the future forming a clear direction for yourself and where you would like to be in six months.

Proven tools and techniques are utilized to help you overcome unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs, enabling you to achieve your goals—whether personal or professional. This process aims to enhance your self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. Over time, you will learn new skills, strategies, and tools that empower you to create the life you desire. It focuses on building your strengths while addressing and eliminating limiting beliefs and behaviours that hold you back from success, however you define it. This approach will facilitate lasting positive changes in all areas of your life. It provides you with a clear vision of your goals, the anticipated results, and the satisfaction of a higher quality of life, along with a support system to help you get there.

What Life Coaching is NOT!

Counselling & Therapy

Life coaching in NOT counselling or therapy!

 

  • Counselling and other forms of therapy (such as psychotherapy) are focussed on the past to understand the present.

  • Counsellors and Therapists are trained mental health professionals who can diagnose and treat mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma or addiction.

  • They provide crisis intervention.

Life Coaching

Life coaching IS solution-focussed!
